Each piece of the festival’s annual art trail is sponsored by local businesses and individuals. Everyone from well-known local artists like Samuel Thomas, Sammy Merry and Dianne Lindsay to schools and nurseries get involved. The trail leaflet is published around Easter of each year and available at all participating businesses as well as the Tourist Information Centres in both Cromer and Sheringham. The pieces are then auctioned off in August on Bank Holiday Sunday at our World Crabbing Competition. All proceeds from each auction are donated to local charities and organisations.
